WHAT IS THE NACVA?
There are voluminous applications for a professional business valuation. Reasons to formally appraise a company include – but aren’t limited to: Gift tax planning, Exit Strategy Planning, M&A, Litigation Support, Buy-sell Agreements & more.
With looming transfer tax changes and baby boomer business owners moving into retirement or semi-retirement, the need to have a business valued professionally will only accelerate.
The National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (AKA NACVA) is a group of business professionals that provide valuation and litigation services for various types of business transactions. Founded in 1991 and based in Salt Lake City Utah, NACVA members receive training, education and certification in asset valuation disciplines. The organization also enforces standards of ethical conduct. To learn how NACVA members can help, see the pdf flyer below.
